Formed in the historic winter of 2015, Hadley and the Jackal has taken the Boston music scene by storm. United by forces of fate, Hadley and the Jackal offers a unique blend of musical influences best described as indie groove rock. The Hadley-sound blends the best aspects of folk and rock while borrowing the groovy aspects of reggae, funk, and fusion music. This band prides itself on live shows, providing an energy laced performance through the union of roaring dual saxophones, soaring guitars and fierce vocals with elegant strings, grooving ukulele and percussion, rock steady bass, and heart throbbing drums. A Hadley and the Jackal show is not just another concert; it’s a celebration of the triumphs and defeats we all experience in our lives. With venues like the Middle East Downstairs (Cambridge, MA) under their belt, Hadley and the Jackal has proved be one of the brightest additions to the Boston music scene in 2015. Their debut demo EP “In The Waves” was released on November 23rd, 2015 and their full length LP is slated for a release date of June 17th 2016. With no shortage of music and a long, exciting road ahead, Hadley and the Jackal is looking into the future with open minds and hopeful hearts.
