About Prozack Staple

The ensemble we know as Prozack Staple was fully formed in June of 1999, adding vocalist Nate Thomas to a trio comprised of Jaime Reynolds on guitars, Gordy Burks on drums, and Tim Chomiak on bass. Monotonous Mt. Vernon, WA, a city roughly equidistant from Seattle, WA, and Vancouver, B.C., has ironically been the fodder for their complex and innovative musical style- a style that essentially "wakes up" the average listener.

The fluidity presented in the transitions of their songs can be compared to many given monumental pieces of classical music. Thus, when at a live Staple show, one witnesses firsthand the consistency and flow that is a trademark of their music. Early 2000 united them as performers with longtime friend and supporter Arron Steiner. As a stage performer known as "the phreek." Steiner uses an array of unique homemade masks, costumes, and stilts that provide hypnotic visual stimulus through movement and symbolism, corresponding to the band's intense sound.

Being nationally supported by Jagermeister has allowed Prozack Staple to join a family of unique artists including Slayer, Pantera, Saliva, 36 Crazyfists, Hed P.E., Megadeth, Anthrax, Insane Clown Posse, Chimaira, Lit, Breaking Benjamin, and Killswitch Engage. While on tour, they have shared the stage with Hed P.E., Saliva, Breaking Benjamin, Mastodon, Killswitch Engage, and most notably, SLAYER (godfathers of thrash metal who are part of The Big Four).

Prozack Staple's 70 minute epic full length album is available on ITUNES.

Stay tuned for new activity from Prozack Staple in 2011 as they look forward to hitting a town near you.
