Buntu is a foundation for a community, bringing together likeminded friends to encourage creative expression. Buntu provides a platform for musical artists, DJs and visual artists, vocalists or performers to come together and create something new and diffrent.
Buntu is a beautiful — and old — concept. The belief that we are defined by our compassion and kindness towards each other. — it embodies the ideas of connection, community, and mutual caring for all.
Samantha’s aim with Buntu is to explore new creative ground and hopefully awaken an interest that will see artists of all forms coming together to create an experience more than an electronic musical event.

Samantha emanates passion and emotion when she is behind the decks and expresses herself in a way that captivates her followers. She radiates warmth into her audience and creates a memorable vibe with her excellent track selection. This has recently been recognised on the circuit and Samantha has been labeled one to “keep an eye on” by international DJ magazine Mixmag.
Making his Night Sheen debut, Normski is an iconic and prolific individual. He has worked in the fields of Music / Tv / Clubs / media for over 20 years. Normski started to DJ in the late 80's mixing between a belt drive Technics 1200 and a cassette player in his bedroom and recording demo's on his Fostex X15 multitrack tape recorder. During a trip in 87 to Detroit for then Record Mirror magazine as a photographer he met and photographed the pioneers of Detroit Techno and was invited to the studio of Juan Atkins to record a vocal over one of his tracks "Yeah Yeah Yeah". This track made it to the Kevin Saundersons KMS compilation LP Techno 1 and less than a year later Normski was designing the sleeve for the same Album. Cementing his position in the foundations of today's contemporary and dance music scene. As a radio broadcaster, his credits include Dance Energy Radio Show on Radio 1, Rap Academy on Kiss FM and VIBE on BBC Radio 5. Kat Richmond (Violin)
Arsenic Mines are live electronic instrumentalists from London using Ableton and violins to perform their own style of house, techno and electronica.Kat Richmond and Andy Green met three years ago when they joined the Forest Philharmonic Orchestra and found themselves talking about electronic music production during every interval of their orchestra rehearsals. They decided to start working on some music together initially just production projects but Kat was keen to turn it into a live set, combining their live performance experience with their love of making techno and house music.
Born in Manila, Philippines, from a young age Mo followed and shared his passion for music, before making a move to London where he grew up immersed in London's underground House and Electronica scene. A raver at heart, Mo understands what drives the dance floor and has honed his skills over the years, developing his unique take on London's ever evolving sound with his DJ sets combining his diverse musical tastes in dance music.
Psychedelic shaman and techno/house sorcerer Mutapa State is a seemingly elusive figure yet deeply entwined in the London dance music scene as a DJ, producer, promoter and event organiser.
Mutapa State founded Positive Frequency in 2013, a revered event series and forward thinking dance music community that explores London's many disused buildings and outdoor settings, offering accessible events for people from all walks of life. Known to host events and DJ in London's deep and influential free party scene, Mutapa State is carrying the torch to new heights as a selector and as a mixer of the old and the new.
EQ completes the Buntu vibe. Working with some of the most established London artists, DJs and Producers, I remember meeting him at famous The End nightclub with mic in hand giving all in the DJ booth. "While I was growing up, i was open to all kinds of music. One day a friend called me up and said, do you want to come to an Acid House party? I had to say yes. Now keep in mind I was used to going to soul jams, so what I was wearing was a bit tame for a Acid House party. It was a wicked night, I guess you could call it an epoch. That friend was Bushwacka from Layo & Bushwacka."
