Angel Thurman Music

Angel Thurman was born a child of the 80‘s in rural Meigs County TN. Angel grew up in a musical environment. Her parents, both being accomplished musicians, she really had no choice but to gravitate to an instrument. By age five, Angel was playing around with the guitar and making noise on any instrument she could find around the house. She began to get serious about her music around the ripe old age of 13! After playing many school functions and community events, she widened her scope and started to play to a wider and wider audience. Angel’s heart lays with the classic country sounds of days gone by. She was influenced by many country artists from Loretta Lynn and Patsy Cline to Miranda Lambert and Pistol Annies. She believes in music that has heart. No cookie cutter fake glam mass produced stuff that is churned out by the Nashville Music Machine nowadays. Angel’s music has been heard all over the southeast at live events and has been featured on Country radio. Her original music is heartfelt and full of down to earth observations and can be funny at times and in an instant can turn to a heartbreaking ballad that rivals any of the country classics you remember on the radio of your childhood. When asked what sets her apart in the local music scene, she answered “I’m different, but a good different! No one else is really doing the kind of stuff that I’m doing. I just play the music that speaks to my heart, and for that I make no apologies!
