Red River Massacre

Red River Massacre is a western sludge metal band from Southern California. They mix spaghetti western film scores with heavy dark pounding riffs, as if Ennio Morricone wrote “A Man with a Harmonica” for Slayer or the Melvins. Keith Irish (electric banjo and vocals) offers creepy simplistic melodies over the band and sings tales from the gallows. Miguel Hernandez (guitar) is dynamic, contrasting the power of thrash metal with the lonesome cries of a guitar slinger. His brother Adriel (drums) sets the stage with a vast atmospheric emptiness to the pounding bombardments of hell! Jeremy Schott rumbles a gut contorting thunder of doom metal from his bass guitar. Steve Burhoe, projectionist, projects clips from movies and images of the tormented soul upon the band, which completes this package of metal, movies and murder. Their debut album to come out soon!
