About Jay Dillinger

Marlon W. also known as hip hop artist JDeezy is no stranger to beating the odds. His mother and father were hit by a school bus and resulted in him being born 2 months premature. At the time they said he had six months to live. The story didn't stop there. Jay Dillinger's parents were soon divorces after his birth. Growing up in a single parent household it seemed hard times were just a way of life. Instead of living the street life Marlon dove into football, music and academics. In middle school Jay was signed to an independent music label IWP under Warner Bro. While in high school Jay was in honor society, leading tackler of his team, Rivals top 100 Linebackers, and #2 overall athlete in the Nike Sparq camp. All though Marlon aka Jay Dillinger was a highly undersized linebacker only weighing 190 lbs and 5'10", his talents awarded him multiple scholarship offers to Oklahoma State, Baylor, Vanderbilt, and Texas Tech. Jay chose Texas Tech to continue his career as a football player. During college Marlon excelled in sports, music, and academics. Jay started his freshman year on special teams then later became the starter for 3 years as a linebacker. He received Honorable Mention twice and led the team in tackles for 2 years. While playing football and studying Industrial Engineering Jay Dillinger focused on becoming an upcoming artist. He opened for many hip hop shows throughout Texas. Such artists as Snoop Dog, Ying Yang Twins, Slim Thug, Mike Jones, DMX, Zero The Don, Schwayze, and Lil Flip just to name a few. After his senior year Jay Dillinger went on to play in the Canadian Football League for the Hamilton Tiger Cats. Soon his time as a football player ended. Jay was devastated at losing his passion for the sport. For a short period he hit rock bottom. Suffering from temporary depression he turned to music to get through the hard time. Soon after JDeezy applied for MTV Real World. A surprisingly turn of events for his life were ahead. He made the cast for MTV Real World Portland in 2013. While on the show JDeezy (as Marlon W. from Lubbock, Tx) recorded an album with InfinitRakz titled Real World True Story. MTV was so impressed with his skills they featured 3 of his songs on the show (Thirsty, Reflection & Turnt Up). Soon after finishing filming for the Real World MTV called him back to be on MTV Challenge Rivals 2. On Rivals 2 as a rookie JDeezy made it all the way to the finals and won 3rd place. Now JDeezy is gaining a heavy buzz in the music industry. His 3rd single off his Album Real World True Story is gaining major buzz gaining over 40,000 views on Youtube in less than 2 weeks. Gaining a social media fan base of 30,000 plus. It seems JDeezy is no stranger to beating the odds and always rising to the occasion. Currently he has started his own clothing line titled Yung And Wavy. WAVY is an acronym for Wild And Visual Yungsters. With all the ups and downs in JDeezy's life he uses music as his escape. Putting together powerful lyrics to explain his hardships in life from losing everything to achieving overnight success. Using off the wall cadences to keep you tuned in as he explains dealing with all the people coming back in his life after being left behind after his football career ended. JDeezy is truly what we've been waiting for. A conscious life teacher meets mainstream rap. Giving you catchy hooks and inspirational vibes along with powerful lyrics on life. That is JDeezy Your classic gym rat who happens to love making music as much as he like lifting weights! May have caught me on this show from MTV called The Real World
