Buddy Boarman, more commonly identified by his fans as Psylo, has been captivating audiences with his independent brand across the greater Triangle area since 2008. Psylo’s eclectic breaks, innovative special effects, and ability to combine visual and auditory stimulation to his spectators offer an uncommon approach that attracts the ever-growing crowd of electronic dance music enthusiasts.
As a full-time Electronic Music Producer, Psylo collaborates and performs alongside illustrious talent such as Deorro, Datsik, Zeds Dead, Adventure Club, Crywolf, Big Gigantic, Borgore, and Robbie Rivera. Most recently, Psylo headlined at the Raleigh Ritz for internationally acclaimed recording artists, Die Antwoord. In early 2014, DJ Psylo’s passion for entertaining the masses and providing a multidimensional dance party experience to patrons, created the market for a recurring monthly concert with Raleigh’s well-known Lincoln Theatre. The Pulse concerts, which originally began with only a handful of fans, has grown exponentially during its’ first year and has developed into a widely anticipated and often sold-out staple event.
Psylo’s infectious drive for success spurs fresh ideas daily as will be evidenced in the upcoming launch of a live electronic project that will incorporate live instruments, entitled Mt. Crushmore, later this year. He continues to gain momentum in the EDM community, making his mark with dominant trap beats, dubstep, and influential musical combinations. The future of EDM has never been brighter and Mt Crushmore is ready to share his brand to the world.
