The concert had been rescheduled from October as Meadowlark wanted to make sure the songs were perfect for performing. Meadowlark are now a duo Kate & Dan and started off as a local trio in the Plymouth & Bristol area. They have recorded two EPs & are now working on an album. The gig was in the Lexington upstairs from the pub & although the beer is good & served in proper glasses, the room is very dark. Photography is virtually impossible. The evening started with Stevie Parker, a lady singer & songwriter new to me. Stevie fronts a band of equally talented musicians & they played some great music. After the show I talked with Stevie & she told me about her music & plans. Meadowlark then performed material from the EPs plus a few songs from their new album. A great night for independent musicians
