TRuss

Born and raised in Brampton, Ontario, TRuss found her sound at an early age. At 4 years old, she began singing, and writing poetry at 11. By the time she was 16, TRuss was writing her own music. Only one year later, TRuss would find her true love in music production. A multi-talented musician, TRuss not only produces music using programs such as Logic and Pro Tools, but also plays multiple instruments including piano and drums. As a vocalist, TRuss is well-known for providing the soulful, sultry lyrics atop her own melodic and solid productions. Since then, TRuss has been both in front of and behind the scenes, working with artists such as The Sorority, DijahSB, Julian Stephen and Tika Simone to name a few. Her inspirations include Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, J. Dilla, Kanye West, 9th Wonder and D'Angelo.
