About DJ G. Brown

Garrett Brown, better known to most simply as "G.Brown," has been bringing his unique style of dance music to stages across the world for the past decade. If one were to describe G.Brown’s style, it would be “global”. Musically, he’s known for introducing sounds from all over the world into the mix. Though born in Boston, it was a move to Miami as a teenager and a deep love for House, Disco, Bass, Hip-Hop, Reggae, and World Music that would lay the foundation for a career as an influential DJ and Producer. After earning his stripes in the Miami DJ scene, he relocated to New York City where he quickly became known for introducing emerging genres and styles to local audiences. Residencies at some of New York's most exclusive clubs like Marquee, Gold Bar, Bungalow 8 and Upstairs soon followed. He also made his debut on NY radio, hosting a program on Shade45 (SiriusXM), as well as becoming a frequent guest host/dj on Mark Ronson's "Authentic Sh*t" program on East Village Radio. His infamous mixes and edits have generated hundreds of thousands of streams and downloads, helping to further spread his sound across the world. Outside of the U.S., G.Brown also maintained a busy tour schedule, performing in over 30 countries across Europe, Asia, South America, Africa and the Caribbean. He’s also caught the attention of some of the world's top fashion houses, like Emporio Armani and Dolce & Gabbanna, who have repeatedly invited him to perform at Fashion Week in Milan, as well as other branded events around the world. As a producer, he has consistently released his own original tracks, as well as remixed songs by artists like Kanye West, Migos, Beyoncé & Major Lazer. Aside from performing, G.Brown is also a successful entrepreneur. In 2012, he launched Keep Bouncing, a boutique event production and artist development firm. Through Keep Bouncing, he has produced numerous dance-driven events in New York and Miami. Most recently, he launched “Future Steps”, a music label and full-sensory pop-up event that features beats from all over the world, and an energetic collective of dancers, musicians and artists from all walks of life adding to the experience.
