Yellow Grass

Yellow Grass brengt sinds haar ontstaan in 2012 een warme Americana sound. Sinds de release van hun debuutalbum “More Than You Should Know” (2014) is de band hard bezig met het veroveren van hun plek in de Nederlandse muziekscene.

Met optredens op o.a. Crossing Border Festival, Paradiso en DWDD, het verzorgen van aftershows van The Dixie Chicks en Bryan Adams, meer dan 1.7 miljoen Spotify-streams voor de titelsong van hun debuutalbum en de titel Radio 2 Nieuwe Naam voor hun single ‚Thunder’, zijn ze goed op weg.

Yellow Grass laat zich inspireren door bands als Crosby Stills & Nash, Fleetwood Mac, Ryan Adams, Eagles, Venice en Civil Wars. Een volwassen sound die de klassieke Americana-invloeden combineert met de energie van jonge muzikanten.

Yellow Grass has brought forth warm Americana Sounds since its inception in 2012. Ever since the release of their debut “More Than You Should Know” the band has made an effort to establish themselves in the Dutch world of music.

Having performed at Crossing Border Festival, Paradiso and DWDD, playing afterparties for The Dixie Chicks and Bryan Adams, hitting the 1,5 million stream mark on Spotify for the title-song of their last album, and receiving the title of „Radio 2 Nieuwe Naam” for their single ‚Thunder’, they seem to be hitting stride.

Yellow Grass draws inspiration from bands like Crosby Stills & Nash, Fleetwood Mac, Ryan Adams, Eagles, Venice and Civil Wars. Combining the legacy of all the Americana classics with the energy that only youthful, accomplished musicians can bring.
