With acclaim spanning from the Chicago Music Awards, to Ghanaian National Television, the JAH KINGS project earns recognition everywhere it travels for the steadfast delivery of compelling, socially conscious, and highly dance-able Funk-infused Roots Reggae performances. Led by former world-class track-star (songwriter/founding member), Alexander “Kofi” Washington, and having long-steeped in powerful alchemical fires, JAH KINGS are now primed to take the project’s cathartic Musical Medicine to the Global Stage!

JAH KINGS have opened up for the Legendary Four Tops, Journey, Foreigner, Bobby Womack, the late great Phyllis Hyman, TLC, Shai, top Reggae Acts Culture, the Itals, Inner Circle, Eekamouse, King Yellowman, and Everton Blender. Musik to date: JAH KINGS Demo, JAH FREQUENCY, LOVE, NOW, and AFRIKAN DIASPORA through Infrared Records out of Little Rock, AR. Alexander Kofi, principle songwriter for the KINGS, also has many songs recorded, and yet to be recorded, for future albums. The CD LOVE was nominated "best Reggae CD" and Alexander Kofi "best Reggae Performer" at the 2002 Chicago Musik Awards. The NOW CD was nominated "Best World CD" at the 2004 Jammie Awards out of Grand Rapids, MI.
