The Paul and Simon show at the Narrows Center last night was amazing. They played classical pieces from Chopin, Mozart, Bach, Beethoven and a couple of other composers. Fanfare for the Common Man was outstanding, as was Take a Pebble which was done in tribute to Keith Emerson and Greg Lake. Both played outstanding solos, but Simon's Bohemian Rhapsody with Roundabout mixed in, done on a Chapman Stick, was note for note incredible and to my ear flawless. To finish the night they played music to act 1 of Nosferatu, the 1922 silent unauthorized first version of Dracula. The movie played center stage while Paul and Simon were on either side playing in perfect time with the movie. I highly recommend these two top musicians as a duo or with the incredible Carl Palmer wherever you may find on tour.
