Mugwump

Borrowing the name from a character from William Burroughs’ famed novel ‘Naked Lunch’, Mugwump is an elusive presence with a solid DJ/tastemaker reputation and an impressive track of labels having released his disco-techno music (from Kompakt, R&S and Gigolo to International Feel, Eskimo or Permanent Vacation). He runs the Subfield label in collaboration with indie power-house !K7, co-runs the Leftorium clubnight & events in Brussels and is active in both DJ and live music fields. Latest releases include the electronic house & disco "Moving House" compilation (with exclusive music from no-less than Andrew Weatherall, Roman Flügel or Tuff City Kids plus Belgian pioneers Arbeid Adelt), 2nd artist LP "Drape" (a post-punk & coldwave indie/electronic fusion within a 4-piece live crew, with conscious lyrical) and current double LP "Undraped & Draped-Out" which features the LP instrumentals and remixes by The Hacker, Curses, Krikor, Vox Low, Front De Cadeaux and many more.
