About Campfire Cassettes
Campfire Cassettes is a Los Angeles based, indie folk band that was started in 2012 by Jonathan Buchanan. Inspired by bands like the Magnetic Fields and Neutral Milk Hotel, Jonathan bought himself a cheap acoustic guitar and once he learned to play the darn thing, started writing quirky, short songs often featuring his dark sense of humor.
Over the next 5 years Campfire Cassettes has played over 100 shows, touring the majority of the US releasing 2 EPs and 3 full length albums.
