Electric Eye started in 2006 when original drummer Andrew Peterson asked his cousins Phil & Dennis Luce to bring their guitars to the annual 4th of July family get together because he'd just got a drum set and wanted to Jam....So we messed around and played the intro's to songs we knew....That Christmas Phil & Dennis's Nephew Jake Blood got a Bass and amp starter kit and started playing the bass he was 14yrs old at the time. Dennis suggested that we all get together and learn some songs for the next 4th of July, but the plan was not to tell anyone and try to Impress our friends and family. It was the worst kept secret in the history of our family the more we practiced the more excited we got and word got out. July 4th 2007 Was our first ever show as a band Although we hadn't come up with a name yet. It was a Fun time and we have been getting together every year Since to play our Family's Annual 4th of July BBQ every year since. In 2009 our other Nephew Dylan who is Jake's brother, started playing a mini set of songs during the middle of our shows And in 2013 He became our Full time drummer when Andrew had to leave because of other commitments! Although we still consider Drew Dog a member of The Band! 2013 Marked the year that Electric Eye started branching out and playing more shows our first was the Aberdeen High School Skills U.S.A. Talent show in April, Next up Was Spodyfest 2013 in June, where we were told by everyone there that we "Killed it" then of course our Annual 4th of July show at Cousin Bob Peterson's Homestead in the Wishkah Valley! We Plan to Continue playing at different events around Grays Harbor with a few already planned for later in the year.
