Amorphis

Amorphis waren wie immer super! Das Carlswerk ist auch eine gute Location. Nach meinem Geschmack hätte der Sound ruhig etwas lauter sein können, dann hätte man vielleicht weniger nerviges Gequatsche um einen herum gehabt.

The concert could have been perfect, in case the sound and light guys would habe done their job. The drums were so loud that the rest was simply not heard. No clue why, because Solstafir playing before had a gret sound and no too loud drums. The light guy was only interested to blend the audiance continiously instead of enlightning the band everyone was comming out to see. Having the eyes closed due to continuous blending lights is not the reason why you want to go to live concerts….

I listen to Amorphis since 1996. I confess I am more into the Tales from the Thousands Lake and Elegy era picking few favorite songs from other albums. The concert had an amazing set list and performance. I just wished they played Against the Widows from Elegy and on the top of the most 2 traditional songs from “Tales” they could include the Castaway , which is one of their most beautiful songs ever made.

Absolut geile Show, starke Auftritt, dafür hat sich die Karte gelohnt. Hoffe ich muss nicht so lange auf den nächsten Besuch warten. Immer wieder gerne, vielleicht auch mal innerer Heimat. Steht noch auf der toodoo Liste Amorphis in Finland Live 5 x🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

Amorphis, dark tranquility Great. And this is one thing which u apreciate about band playing last. ELUVEITE. As u can walk away . Fabienne pop crap , diva or whatever stuff just destroys. Maybe she just tries to hold band together. But. More then half new people. And can see , hear and feel that soul is not there. It was kinda going to cover band concert. Was 3 years ago in glasgow - when they played and it was great. Changing songs. Extending , or even lyrics doesnt help. And Chrigel sayong - i dont know how about u guys but i feel fantasthic. Well . When u are on drugs and wasted yes. Music should be able to enjoy sober. And sound enginer didnt help too.

Wonderful to see them after years of waiting and reschedules.... They sounded great! Small crowd made it feel intimate and personal. Opening bands were good and highlighted several aspects of Amorphis' career in sound and feel.

Uada came out in darkness, kicked ass for half an hour or whatever, then walked off - no talking to the crowd, just super awesome heavy as hell music. Very impressed! (I don't know why my picture is upside down) Sylvaine was great, only let them play 3 songs tho. They need more time!!! And of course Amorphis sounded so good, too.

I thought the vocals were low in the mix and that was a shame. But I did enjoy the show and glad to leave with a tee and the vinyl version of the Queen of Time

Amorphis killed it! I'm so happy to finally see this band as I've been a fan for 25 years. It was also awesome to see all original members in the band again. Amorphis kicks ass!!! Anneke was fantastic. Delain was/is very meh.

Fantastic selection of songs, phenomenal sound, neat segues, an astonishingly complete merch table, and the definitive version of Amongst Stars. The only downside was that I was hoping for them to have done more with Anneke - her solo “set” was fun, but why not bring her in for a couple more songs?

Great show! My only criticism would be with the venue. I got VIP tickets and didn’t see anything about meeting the band for autographs prior to that on the Riot Room’s website. Fortunately, I got to meet Tomi before the show! It was fantastic. Love these guys and can’t wait to see them again.

Third time in a row seeing Amorphis and they still do not disappoint! Show was awesome! Tomi’s vocals just seem to get better year after year. I don’t know how they do it but each album just seems to be better than the last one (except for Circle, which, just in my opinion, was ok but not spectacular) and Queen of Time is certainly no exception. Check out Angry Metal Guy’s review of the album. This album is amazing and everyone should be listening to this all the time! Even my wife, who normally doesn’t listen to Amorphis much, is actually enjoying this album. Oh, and Amongst Stars with Anneke Van Giersbergen was perfection. Amorphis should really consider making her a permanent member of the band! Yeah it should be pretty obvious that I am a big fan of Amorphis. I loved the show. I can’t wait to see them again. I am eagerly looking forward to a new album eventually. If you have the chance to see them, go! Well worth it in my humble opinion! 😁

Amorphis was fantastic of course. But Jan Rechberger didnt show up for the meet and greet. Why? No one knew! Amorphis played a short set in my opinion. Anneke's set was too long, it was like amateur hour - she played 5 (YES 5) cover songs. I would have preferred if she played 3 songs with Amorphis instead, but they only played 1 which was a waste. But it felt like Amorphis didnt get to play their best songs from any album. So it wasnt as good as their last show in 2016. I cant comment on Delain, im not a fan. Also here is some advice on death growling from Tomi Joutsen himself: "you either got it or you dont". 😁 so stop trying, youll wreck your throat!

Genial, me quedaron a deber algunas canciones clásicas, pero en general muy bien, muy buen foro, público respetuoso en general muy buen evento, salvo los vendedores de chelas que se atraviesan gritando como si fuera partido de fútbol

Amorphis offerer a good show but the majority of the audience came for their support and it was Jinjer ! The ukrainian band realised once again a fantastic performance and it was the Fury ! Amorphis were not at their level.

Quel plaisir de partager ce moment avec ce grand groupe... et surtout de voir qu’ils avaient aussi plaisir à être là et jouer devant nous... Son excellent, setlist bien menée, un beau moment... Merci, revenez vite !!!

I've waited 25 years to see Amorphis and boy was it worth it! They nailed it last night. Only downside is they played virtually the whole new album, but that's not really a bad thing as queen of time is a masterpiece. What a fantastic night 🤘🤘🤘

Well worth waiting over 8 years to see Amorphis in the Us again. And Swallow The Sun was also masterful as always. They perform with a depth of emotion, and their tribute to Aleah was poignant. When the vocalists is StS and Amorphis got on the stage together for the finale of Black Winter Day, that was pure magic. The supporting acts, Grey Skies Fallen and Turrogenic were good as well. I have to say the venue, as my first time attending there, was great. What an intimate, small club atmosphere. Friendliest bartenders as well.

Amorphis was awesome, the other two bands.... not so much. but one positive, this was the first metal show I've been to in a while that has three bands of the same genre of metal
