About Fond Of Rudy
South Eastern Calypso Alt Pop | London/Brighton
The bands tracks have been sourced by national radio, including plays on BBC Introducing London (Gary Crowley), BBC 6 Music / BBC Introducing Mixtape (Tom Robnison), Amazing Radio (Shell Zenner, Charlie Ashcroft). Being featured on a number of international Hype Machine certified blogs and curated Spotify playlists helped the band secure slots at The Great Escape, Canadian Music Week, Blissfields, Brownstock and Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival.
It seems their success so far has been in part down to having the right music at the right time – a point further proved when they caught the ear of the organisers of Canadian Music Week and secured a showcase for the festival, which was funded by the International Showcase Fund - PRS For Music Foundation.
