About Oh No! Oh My!

Oh No Oh My is a four-piece indie rock band from Austin, Texas. Their music is rooted in an intricate melodic style reminiscent of The Magnetic Fields and Belle and Sebastian, fused with quirky lyrics and augmented by a diverse range of instruments.

Oh No Oh My is the brainchild of multi-instrumentalists Greg Barkley and Daniel Hoxmeier - residents of Austin, Texas who developed an interest in music to pass the time while being home-schooled. After joining forces with drummer Joel Calvin, Barkley and Hoxmeier formed The Jolly Rogers. A decision to drive the band in a new direction resulted in a name change—the current Oh No Oh My moniker was inspired by a song by The Robot Ate Me.
