I drove all the way from St. Louis to here for this show that I’ve been looking forward to for months. This was definitely worth the trip. The venue was amazing and spacious and the show was so much fun. Security was good I had no problems with them. Definitely recommend going if you ever find metal shows playing at the venue.

That s…hole place, without air conditioning and primitive acoustics, doesn’t do justice to a band of such caliber. Both the band and the audience struggled. The show was short, the band suffered the heat and I had to go in and out to get some fresh air, Five star to the band ,zero to the venue. Guys ,next time you come to Rome, please play somewhere else, you are great musicians and we deserve to enjoy such quality in a decent place. Thanks to Trey for the nice chat.

Sanguisugabogg and Aborted for the win on this one. Fucking slayed it!! I don’t know what the hell was going on with the lack of bass players but I think the sound guy had a lot to do with it. Didn’t know how to tune a bass in. Tech problems maybe? Bogg doesn’t have one anyway but Aborted and Osiris do. Aborted even with no bass and being the professional seasoned band they are it barely made a difference. Fetus and suicide however were so drowned out by the bass. Especially Fetus only having a single guitar on stage. You could actually hear the grinding of the pick causing this constant annoying hum through every track. This is like the….shit I don’t even know anymore, like the 20th time seeing Fetus live and it was one of the worst sounding ones so far. With a killer ass set list to. Didn’t hit the floor so not sure about sound down below. Anyway, still one of the sickest line ups so far this year, just me being picky in my old age! Lol. 🤘🤘

About Dying Fetus

Self-reliance and musical integrity are the two principles to which DYING FETUS have always lived by. Formed in 1991, during the height of the death metal explosion, DYING FETUS have matured into one of the premiere extreme death metal/grindcore acts to emerge from the massive global metal underground. The band is recognized worldwide as a prime example of songwriting perfection across seven studio albums (Purification Through Violence (1996), Killing On Adrenaline (1998), Destroy The Opposition (2001), Stop At Nothing (2003), War Of Attrition (2007), Descend Into Depravity (2009), Reign Supreme (2012)), combining an innovative mix of technical virtuosity and catchy song structures to create the ultimate blend of death metal, hardcore and grind.

Now in 2017, DYING FETUS once again raise the bar of sonic extremity with their 8th studio album and first new material in over 5 years, Wrong One To Fuck With. The seasoned veterans manage to further stretch their creative and technical boundaries across 10 complex tracks of pulverizing death metal, filled with more dynamic intricacies, brutal breakdowns and varied vocal patterns than ever before. Now over 25 years into their distinguished career, DYING FETUS cement their legacy with Wrong One To Fuck With and uphold their position as the most dominant force in death metal today.
