Charles-Eddy Vitry aka Mr Pitiful:

With his determination and passion for music, he landed his first residency in 2001 at the era-defining Parisian nightclub: Les Bains Douches.

Charles-Eddy Vitry quickly made a name for himself in Paris. Regularly spinning jazz groove, hip-hop and house and a perplexing ability to mix anything from rock ‘n’ roll to electro; soul to house; acid jazz to minimal tech at Le Rex Club, Le Bataclan

In 2007 he decided to branch out, playing in New York, Montreal and Switzerland, then doing a final shift to Australia, where he has been settling since.

Mix, sample, juggle, scratch, cut, produce; Mr Pitiful can do it all, and was quick to establish himself in Melbourne, both in the club and bush doof scene’s.
He has played at Strawberry Fields since its inaugural year in 2008, Maitreya, Yemaya and coutless renegades at Festival.

He has played along international and local artists at venue such as: 161, Revolver, Toff In Town, Railway Hotel, My Aeon, Lounge, Section 8, St Jerome’s, Third Class and Glamorama.
