David Bazan

Cool venue, great band.

Great band, great show, great crowd, and we got great seats upstairs! David's guitarist/opener is a talented songwriter in his own right. Awesome to hear the entirety of two terrific early albums, especially "Control."

Dave was great as always, the crowd needed to shut the hell up!

Great show. After the new sound of Blanco I was looking forward to hearing the live performance. Sir David came out with only his guitar and proceeded to play many numbers from his new album and a few classics entirely solo. It was very unexpected and extremely intimate. I am trying to determine if I would have preferred to see him with a whole band or perhaps never have the chance to see a show like this. As Bazan said himself, during the brief storytelling in between songs, "Expectations can be a motherfucker"

Just David and his guitar, raw songs with great tone and gritty performance, and insightful and fun conversation throughout the set. Michael Nau, opener, did not disappoint either.

David Bazan has the power to stand on a stage all by himself and transfix the entire audience. Never change.

The show was amazing!

Intimate show. David is charming and witty. His interaction with us attending was a rare gift. He opened the floor for many questions and answered every one. He played with vigor and honesty. His voice warmly filling the house and his sad tones beaming from his guitar. As a fan from the 90's and still now seeing him play his songs just a foot away was fulfilling. Thank you David Bazan.

The most beautiful thing I've ever heard.

David Bazan is the most vulnerable, down-to-earth and humble artist I've ever seen. The way the Passenger String Quartet compliments Bazan's acoustics is other-worldly and the intimate setting of his concerts enable you to feel like you've known him forever. He is the definition of a true artist and if you are able, you should most DEFINITELY see him!
