Modern Inventors

Modern Inventors is Josh Benus & Matt Kass, two Northeastern songwriter/producer/musicians who recently relocated to Nashville. Upon moving, they built a full recording studio with bassist/producer Owen Biddle (The Roots) and started writing their new record together. With the addition of Daru Jones (Jack White) on drums and Kai Welch on keyboards, Modern Inventors sound merges the strong songwriting that Nashville is known for, with a Northern grit and soul that few bands can capture.
