Ashes In The Sky is a five piece Hard Rock/Metal Band from Long Island, New York, consisting of two brothers and their three best friends; Patrick [drums], Anthony [guitar], Dave [guitar/vocals], Anthony [Bass] and Andrew Kohn [vocals]. All five members of the band reside and grew up, here on Long Island, with an admirable passion for music. They, as individuals, are influenced by various bands, ranging through different genres, and have played a large number of shows throughout the island. Formed in 2010, the band’s unique sound erupts with the rich and melodic tone of guitars, a heavy yet clear bass line, intricately pounding drums, all combined with stellar vocals of pure emotion and fire-fueling-kick-your-teeth-in screams. Each band member, as an individual, were influenced by several diverse bands such as Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet For My Valentine, Disturbed, The Beatles, Queen, Pantera, Trivium, Drowning Pool and many more... Together, these five individual artists create a dynamic blend of both light and heavy rock/metal genres, from clean tunes and emotional verses to killer transitions and balls-to-the-wall metal. Ashes In The Sky, as musicians, song writers, and artists in general, are continuously expanding their horizons.
