Sallo has become known for its frenetic live performances, commanding the room with a sonic fury usually only attributed to full blown Rock bands. Unabashedly unique and avant garde, Sallo routinely tests the boundaries of traditional songwriting. Sallo has collaborated with a variety of local artists including the Portland Cello Project, The 3rd floor comedy/theater group, the Curious Comedy Theater, the Castiron Carousel marionette troupe, and the Filmusik Project. Guest artist's include Skip VonKuske from Vagabond Opera, Andy Fish from Silk & Olive, and Leslie Kernochan from March Fourth Marching Band.
