Nesto

Nešto [ne : shtoh] born Nenad Stojcic......Nešto translates to 'something' in Serbo-Croatian. Something Nenad has been nicknamed by his friends near and far, due in part by his gregarious nature as well as his desire to bring a little bit of something for everyone. Nešto’s musical journey began many years ago in Germany, where he was immersed in a wide assortment of electronic music as a teenager. Later, upon moving to the States, a special fondness for Detroit Techno and its respective culture began to shape his musical passion. Nešto’s Djing journey starts in the winter of 2005, when he purchased his first set of 1210’s and his first set of vinyl. For the next six months, Nešto spent the better half of his days and all of his nights locked in his room trading speakers and vinyl for his bed and pillow… after all, practice makes perfect… It was in the year of 2006 that Nešto met Eric Sutter, and Jeremy Poling among the Detroit scene. the established friendship between the three would later flourish into a house music centric promotional team known as "Something Clever". It wasn't until the summer of 2015 however, that Nešto, joined forces with fellow local DJ's; John Longchamps, and Matthew Perrin to co create for the promotional label known as MODUL8. Nešto's remarkable attention to detail, as well as his warm and inviting nature has shaped the very ethos for MODUL8's mission in regards to community. In most engagements one can find Nešto playing an array of deep minimal house & techno on the one hand, and house/soul/disco on the other. With his attention to detail, Nešto focuses on establishing the right mood at the right time, always finding a way of giving the crowd what they want , always coming with "something" up his sleeve, connecting the people with the vibe.
