Disfonia

Disfonía es una banda de Metal Alternativo. Su sonido se caracteriza por la multiplicidad de estilos que convergen en una misma pieza musical, siempre en el marco del rock, el metal y sus numerosas variantes, desde las más suaves y tradicionales, hasta las más devastadoras (hard rock, heavy metal, thrash, death, grindcore, glam, punk, pop rock, etc.)

Disfonía tiene 10 años de historia, 4 discos en estudio publicados, 1 DVD "live in studio", y vasta experiencia en numerosos y diversos escenarios, destacando su performance en vivo, de alto impacto, liderada por su frontman Keving Leiva, quien mezcla disciplinas físicas y artísticas como la danza, el yoga y la expresión corporal. Un sello que aúna y congrega diferentes corrientes y estilos en su audiencia.

Su tercer disco en estudio, DISFONEISHON (2012, grabado en estudios TARKUS, mezclado por Eugenio Marín, Estudios Rockaxis y masterizado por Joaquín García) y su DVD en vivo en estudio (2013, grabado, mezclado y masterizado tal como DISFONEISHON), han tenido una crítica positiva en el extranjero y en medios nacionales. Países como México, España, Perú, EEUU y Guatemala han dedicado espacios en medios virtuales y de prensa escrita a estas producciones.

Actualmente, la banda se encuentra en plena promoción de su cuarta placa "THE SOUND OF THE COLLUSION PT. 1 & PT. 2", postulante a mejor disco 2016 en la categoría "Metal" en los Premios Pulsar 2016. El disco además cuenta con canciones en inglés, lo que evidencia el interés de la banda de abrir fronteras.

DISFONIA es un grupo que se ha presentado en distintos contextos, compartiendo con todo tipo de artistas relacionados al rock y el pop. Su particular performance ha permitido estrechar distancias de estilos y públicos diversos, consiguiendo siempre una aceptación transversal tras sus shows.

DISFONÍA is an Alternative Metal band. DISFONÍA has 10 years of history, 4 studio albums released, 1 "Live in Studio" DVD, and a vast experience in many and diverse stages, highlighting their live performance, high impact, lead by their frontman Keving Leiva, who mixes physical and artistic disciplines like dance, yoga and body expression. A seal that joints together different currents and styles in their audience.

Its third studio album, DISFONEISHON (2012, recorded in TARKUS studios, mixed by Eugenio Marín, Rockaxis Studios, and mastered by Joaquín García), and its Live in Studio DVD (2013), both have achieved positive reviews on foreign and national media. Countries such as Mexico, Spain, Peru, USA and Guatemala have dedicated spaces on virtual and print media to these productions.

Currently, the band is working on the promotion of their fourth studio album, called "The Sound of the Collusion Pt. 1 & Pt. 2", with in-english songs, something that shows their intentions to open their music to the world. The album was considered one of the 15 best albums in the PULSAR Awards 2016 (CHILE), category "Best Metal Album".

DISFONÍA has presented its show in different contexts, sharing with all kind of rock and pop bands and artists. Its particular performance has enabled to closer distances between music styles and diverse audiences.
