YK ( YK361 ) , is an American rapper from Corpus Christi, Texas. He started writing music at the age of 9 and begin his music career not to long after at the age of 14. In 2012 YK founded his own record label and movement called Dream City. YK’s music is based off of emotions, experiences, problems, and real life situations that he is or has gone through before in his life. With the help of melodic producers: TNTXD , Young Asko and Ross Gossage. YK is able to connect with his listeners on a much deeper level, by opening up and venting his pain and struggles through his music .
