Matt Fryers

Born in 1982 Matt lived most of his early life in Chorlton, an area known for its vibrant music scene . He began his musical life at the age of 10, learning to play the keyboard and later including vocals and guitar into his repertoire. In 2003 Matt joined the band Hardy as the lead singer and songwriter and stayed with the band until they split in 2005. He then joined Casual Riot in 2007 again as lead singer/songwriter. Casual Riot disbanded in 2010 and since then Matt has been refining his skills as a solo acoustic artist. Performing and recording his own original work alongside a selection of covers, Matt offers listeners something unexpected from the acoustic genre. In 2014, Matt released 2 tracks for Manchester Label, Scruff of The Neck Records as part of their ‘Mix Tape Volume 1 album. The album features 4 bands, along with Matt, being the only solo artist chosen to be involved reaffirming his talent and ability to shine as an artist, even when set alongside bands 2016 sees Matt taking a brief break from the norm, collaborating with Hardstyle Producer DJ Coone, Matt features on the track Last Man Standing.
