Summonus

Summonus take pride in their live performances and have had the privilege of playing with many fine bands including SLEEP (USA), High on Fire (USA), Mastodon (USA), Baroness (USA), Acid King (USA), The Atomic Bitchwax (USA), Black Cobra (USA), Monarch (France), Unearthly Trance (USA), Eagle Twin (USA), Zeni Geva (Japan), Lichens (USA), Birushanah (Japan), Blood Duster, Pod People, Beastwars (NZ), Realized (Japan), Winnebago Deal (UK), Fuck I'm Dead, Captain Cleanoff, Space Bong, Looking Glass, Fattura Della Morte, The Day Everything Became Nothing, Deathcage, Agonhymn and Clagg.

Summonus was formed in mid 2007 in Sydney, Australia, by four like-minded musicians inspired by the likes of Black Sabbath, Eyehategod, High On Fire, Celtic Frost, Pod People, Electric Wizard and much, much more.

Doom metal, sludge, stoner rock, crust punk and death metal have all played a part in shaping their crushing and mountain-sized yet memorable sound. When it comes down to it, capturing the right feel and writing killer riffs and songs that stick in your head are what drives Summonus.

Each band member has had experience playing in numerous other bands in Sydney, Melbourne and Scotland over the years, spanning a variety of styles including stoner rock, grindcore, hardcore punk, death metal and rock.
