COLORIZE - PABLOPOLAR IST ZURÜCK! COLORIZE, das dritte Album von PABLOPOLAR, erscheint am 11.09.2015. Das Raumschiff der fünf Berner ist zurück aus dem Kosmos und landet mit einem farbigen Knall in der Musiklandschaft. Zwölf Songs erweitern den Sound der ersten beiden Alben, verbinden die rockige Attitüde von «Any Minute Now» (2011) mit der folkig angehauchten Melancholie von «Sleepwalker» (2013) und heben den Sound der Band in neue, unerforschte Sphären. Die schlanke Instrumentierung reduziert die Songs auf ihre Essenz: Zerbrechliche, elegische Melodien mit federnden Hooklines, welche den kühlen Bariton von Sänger Manuel Kollbrunner gefühlig umschmeicheln. Die Melodien sind eingängig wie immer, die Gitarrenlicks von Simon Vogt unverkennbar und der Drumsound aufs Wesentliche reduziert. Und doch ist da etwas völlig neu: PABLOPOLAR klingen optimistisch! Die Songs sprudeln vor Energie, die Band groovt federnd, die Gitarren dröhnen schon mal wie zu den besten Zeiten des Britpops, und die synthiesizergetränkten Schwerblüter-Balladen erzeugen eine knisternde Spannung.
