Outrageous, unpredictable and intensely captivating, Nomadic is like a roller coaster of sound: soaring peaks and spine tingling drops twisting and turning you through a vast array of musical styles. Nomadic owes its growing success to their highly captivating and energetic live performances as well as their epic and diverse song structures that pull from electronica, blues, funk, progressive and even anthemic rock. These styles all lend to Nomadic's addictive and undeniably fun grooves, blistering climaxes and melodic ballads that are unique and immense. Nomadic brings an energy packed live sound that is gripping from start to finish. It is an experience not easily forgotten. Since their inception in 2010 the quartet has gone from a locally legendary party band to a legitimate up and comer in the region. With each passing year Nomadic’s sound becomes more refined and deliberate, yet they continue to be committed to pushing the boundaries of structure, improvisation and stylistic fusion. They have shared the stage with such east coast powerhouses as The Mantras, Tauk, The Movement, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Dirk Quinn Band, Greenhouse Lounge, Jahman Brahman and many others. The Nomadic name is increasingly commonplace on the regional festival and bar scene and the pack of “Nomads” continues to grow. 2014 has already proven Nomadic’s most successful year to date. The band’s move from Boone to Asheville, NC the previous year presented a new series of challenges that were met with stride. Defining themselves as truly one of the kind in such an established and growing musical climate while building a new local fan base was not easy. Nomadic, however, has emerged more capable than ever before. The group also looks forward to the upcoming release of their debut full length album - “Trigger” - a reflection of the environment from which it came.
