Small crowd, so the atmosphere was limited; however the quality of the music and particularly the guitar playing could not be faulted. Her music is at times hauntingly beautifI ul and sad, but sometimes uplifting and joyous; much like life. I wish her every success, and will certainly hope to see another live show.

Overall great performance! She is a great guitarist and a even more greater singer. It was one song that didn't get played which was sad because it was my favorite song of her!

Monica Heldal er 24 år gammel, og signert på Warner Music. Hennes debutalbum "Boy From The North" kommer 04.november, men allerede bevist at hun har en plass på den norske og internasjonale musikkscenen. Monica Heldal var Special Guest på utsolgt Europaturné med Ben Howard i desember 2012, hun bidro også på Ben Howards siste EP "Burgh Island"(som gikk inn på 1# på Itunes UK). I januar gjorde hun to konserter under Eurosoninc, deretter rett til Start Point Studio i Devon, UK, med Chris Bond (produsent/trommeslager for Ben Howard) som produsent og innspilling av hennes debutalbum. Under by:Larm i januar gjorde hun to gnistrende konserter og var samtidig nominert til Statoilstipendet. På Spellmannshowet i Stavanger høstet hun stormende jubel og fikk mange nye fans gjennom TV-ruta. Hun vant Gramarts prestigetunge Bendiksenprisen i juni. Monica Heldal skal også være special guest under hele kommende turnéen til Thomas Dybdahl i Norge.
