About The Family (UK)
The Family are a 4 piece rock band from Sheffield who formed from the ashes of disbanded hardcore act Dead Harts. Vocalist Mathew Baxendale's pursuit for a more melodic vocal and the groups shared love of both modern groups like the Metz and legends like Nirvana have fostered their aggressive grunge concoction, timeless in it's raw delivery, whilst poignant lyrics address current issues for the modern misunderstood soul in a media-driven capitalist society.
