Dobie Maxwell

Dobie Maxwell is a professional comedian who has toured North America since 1985. He has opened shows for a variety of acts including Jerry Seinfeld, Jeff Foxworthy, Drew Carey, Robin Williams, Rosie O’Donnell, Craig Ferguson and too many other comedy and music acts to name. Dobie is known for being able to adapt his show for a wide variety of audiences.

Dobie has appeared on ‘The Late Late Show’ with Craig Ferguson on CBS TV,
‘Comics.TV’ with Byron Allen, ‘Comcast Comedy Spotlight‘, ’Comic Strip Live’ on Fox TV and a giant laundry list of local and regional shows from coast to coast.

Dobie has been a guest on hundreds of radio stations from coast to coast and host of a morning show in several markets including Chicago’s legendary ‘Loop’, Salt Lake City, Milwaukee, and Lansing, MI. He also hosted a weekly Sunday night talk show called ‘The Mothership Connection’ on WLIP in Kenosha, WI.

A rock solid headliner, Dobie has appeared all across North America in a variety of comedy clubs such as The Improv, The Comedy Store, The Funny Bone, Laffs, The Laff Spot, Wiseguys, Zanies and too many more to list. He’s still a student of his craft, and continues to grow and improve with constant work.

Dobie has appeared on Carnival Cruise Lines since the summer of 2010, and continues to expand his fan base.
