KillBorn

KillBorn started after the demise of local band Flood the Cities. Former Flood the Cities members Forest Marsh, Cary Jr, and Matt Berrie joined up with Dave Haigh and Jeff Davis to form the first incarnation of what became KillBorn. After playing the second annual South Stukely Scandal the band parted ways and went on hiatus. A year and a half later,2013,the band reformed with original members Cary Jr, Matt Berrie and Forest Marsh, welcoming former Flood the Cities drummer Shawn Barnes, and new Bassist Josh Lortie to the ranks. During this time the band composed all new material , some of which is featured on The Death of Life E.P. In 2014 we played many of local shows in the Quebec south shore region. Building a strong following in the area. We had the chance to share the stage with some of the areas finest metal bands including Cryptopsy, Depths of Hatred, Bookakee, Faithful Synthesis,A Life Forsaken,Warsenal and many more. In November 2014,due to personal reasons, original guitarist and founding member Cary Jr left the band on good terms. Taking his place on guitar duties is Jason Masse otherwise known as Dr.Jay. Kicking off 2015 in the right fashion. Killborn embarked on a small provincial tour, covering ground all over southern Quebec. Playing hometown shows in Granby and Sherbrooke,than branching out into new territory. During said tour we had the chance of sharing the stage yet again with some great bands such as Depths of Hatred,Beyond Creation,Faithful Synthesis, Deformatory,Shape the Above, About Blank,Becoming the Bully and many more. We also happened to be apart of Black Crown Initiate's Wreckage of Canada tour. During this time we headed into House of Gain Studio, ran by Blind Witness guitarist Maxime Lacroix, to record The Death of Life E.P. The E.P is due to be release in November 2015. The single is available on YouTube. Late 2016 saw the departure of Josh Lortie who replaced by Jesse Badger KillBorn is an Extreme Metal band from the Granby/Sherbrooke area of Quebec.
