Grace Bernicker

Grace Bernicker is a soulful singer and songwriter from right outside Philadelphia, PA. After spending the past year living in Nashville writing for both herself & other artists Grace is happy to be back in her hometown and looks forward to playing more local & east coast shows. (She loves Nashville too!) Her music has been described as having a strong lyrical quality, that at once paints a picture and shares a story with her audience. Grace's style mixes girl-next-door sweetness with the soulful acoustic sounds similar to artists such as Adele and Sara Bareilles. Grace will make you feel.

In 2012 she released her first three debut singles all of which where recorded in Nashville. All songs were produced and co-written by her co-writer/producer Kenny Lamb (N’SYNC/Justin Timberlake/Rhett Akins) with engineering and mixing by Chris Rowe (Taylor Swift/Jewel). Since then Grace has been getting back to her roots in pop/soul and is excited about heading in a new direction.

As an independent artist she’s opened for Jon McLaughlin, showcased on the college tour circuit and has placed as a finalist in many local & national competitions. Some of which include being selected as a finalist in the Wawa Welcome America Taste of Philadelphia Singer/Songwriter Competition during the summer of 2013. Grace has also been a finalist in the PA round of the Texaco Country Showdown, hosted by 92.5 WXTU as well as one of 100 country artists asked to submit by Dodge for the Dodge, “Inspired by You” Contest, a contest that granted the winning artist song placement in the 2013 Dodge Dart Commercial. Grace placed within the Top 15, as a fan voted artist within the country category.

Some of her favorite venues to date include: World Café Live, The Tin Angel, The Grape Room, The Bluebird Café, 12th & Porter, Puckett’s Grocery & Restaurant, Belcourt Taps & Tapas and performing pre-game on the field at the Wilmington Blue Rocks during the summer of 2012.

Since her release in April 2012,
Grace has played over 100+ shows up and down the east coast—not to mention doing all of this as a full time college student.

Grace graduated from Temple University in May 2013 and is proudly #TempleMade.

She is also a volunteer with Musicians on Call in Philadelphia and absolutely loves having the opportunity to perform for patients in hospitals in and around Philadelphia. Her favorite part of this experience is having the ability to brightens someone’s day though music. “Seeing patients smiling and laughing as I perform, is the best feeling in the world.”
