Brittle Head Girl

Formed in August 2008 Brittle Head Girl are Ryan (vox/guitar), Ritchie (guitar/vox), Gavin (bass) and Chris (drums). Ryan, and Ritchie previously played in Edinburgh band Diaz whilst Chris and Gavin were in Perth noiseniks The Jennifers (Human Condition Records). Influenced by 70's rock, 80's cock, 90's alt-rock, 00's stoner rock and tinnitus BHG set out to kick the folk out! 2009 saw the band debut at the Ark in Edinburgh and go on to play various gigs in Edinburgh & Glasgow, cementing a fearsome live display. BHG recorded and released their debut album Make The World Ignite in 2011 before taking a break til 2012. Up to 2013 and the band reconvened to record their second album at 0925 studios, releasing the single Distractions late in the year and headlining in Edinburgh to support the release. New album "Zero Heading" came out 10 February 2014 and is available on shiny compact disc from brittleheadgirl.bandcamp.com. The band embarked on a successful mini tour to support this release in 2015, playing Glasgow, Edinburgh, Hawick, London & Perth before taking a break to demo new material. In July 2015, Steve left the band to concentrate on Victorian radiators and Gavin was drafted in and made an official member in September that year.
