About The Black Lagoons

HE BLACK LAGOONS are a garage rock band that have been featured on BBC Introducing York and North Yorkshire on numerous occasions (including a live set), had airtime on Huw Stephens' Radio One show and they been hailed by Tom Robinson (BBC Radio 6) as - “so young, so talented”. Their sound has been described as "Heavy psychedelic sludge to spooked garage surf" and being "a garage sound that dwarfs most venues and intimidates most bands due to its thunderous bass, powerhouse drumming and guitars that know no bounds". Their live show is intense and non-stop. The Black Lagoons have supported the likes of James Leg, And Yet It Moves (featuring Dale Barclay formerly of The Amazing Snakeheads) and they were chosen by BBC Introducing to play Sheffield O2 Academy for Tramlines 2016.
