Ben Lapidus is a multifaceted music-maker based in New York City, hailing from Doylestown, PA. He is an artist, performer, songwriter, composer, producer and engineer; and truly the self-contained, vertically integrated music-maker of the 21st century. In the spring of 2012, he released his debut solo E.P. “Stages” under the artist name Goodnight Moon, which he wrote, performed, tracked, mixed and brought to recorded fruition himself. As a composer, Ben has worked with several independent filmmakers to provide them with original, self-produced underscores. As an engineer, Ben is a self-taught guru and has further developed his skills under the masters at Stadium Red Recording Studio. Ben recently began Weekly Releases – releasing a new song every Sunday night, written and recorded in one week. Ben currently attends The Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU Tisch.
