Cold Pumas

COLD PUMAS were born in Brighton, land of windswept piers, and have been abiding by the three Rs since their inception: Repetition, Repetition, Repetition. The Autumn of 2012 saw the release of their freshman long-player Persistent Malaise, a triumvirate split between Faux Discx, Gringo Records and Italian Beach Babes, which was lauded by the popular press upon release. Now a four-piece, and three quarters London-based, they remain wedded to the construction of great cathedrals of heinous noise in which to focus upon a melancholy and hypnotic dusk, slowly descending. Funnelling kraut sensibilities, and tangents of Sonic Youth and Women, this metronomically grounded quartet of pedants are a dexterous and invigorating shower, for whom 2014 will see the completion of their sophomore release.
