Day of Reckoning

Founded by world renowned guitarist Rusty Cooley in 2010, Day Of Reckoning combines modern heavy metal with virtuoso musicianship, melodic sophistication with raw brutality, these unique compositional traits are on full display on their debut album “Into The Fire - PT1”, as evidenced by such aurally blistering compositions as “Left To Follow” & “Nothing To Gain”. Cooley’s previous band ‘Outworld’ received universal acclaim, when Outworld disbanded, from the ashes arose “Day Of Reckoning”. After extensive auditions, singer/producer Brad Lambert (vocals), composer/guitarist Matt Hough (guitars), bass player Sherman Clark and DDrum Artist/ producer Jared Sandhy (drums) were added to the lineup. Sherman Clark has been a great addition to the band’s sound both live and 1st EP, with his monstrous bass playing abilities, but due to some personal reasons he is stepping down this summer from touring and being full-time in the band. We are currently in the works with new bass players for the upcoming plans. Day Of Reckoning has begun a series of touring performances with metal acts such as Nile, Darkest Hour & Marzi - ft Tim “Ripper” Owens. In addition to their performances, DOR is now in preparation of their follow -up EP “Into The Fire - PT 2”.
