Goldwing is not a band. Goldwing is not an album, and Goldwing is not a song. Goldwing is an outlet for four music lovers from Atlanta, GA. You could read about how they started in a garage, set on leaving a legacy. You could read about when started playing music, how the four of them met and where they were the first time they heard a Beatles song. But that isn't what you need to know about Goldwing. You know more about Goldwing songs than you may think, and you already know how they feel. The same feeling happens when moving to a new city; when finding new love; when hearing a new song for the first time. Goldwing adds words and music to the human experience. They’ve sought after Lennon/McCartney, Dylan, Hiatt, and Guy Clark as teachers. They’ve devoured their work and wisdom as they navigated through adolescence, finding their words and voice. Petty, Springsteen, and the Stones are what made them turn up the stereo. They are the reason they knew they'd never work a 9-5 job. With deep respect for the masters of their craft and the legacy left behind, Goldwing pushes forward. The hope of some day making their own mark is the coffee that gets them through the night, and the fuel that keeps them driving. So here they are-Stefan Cashwell, Ben Israel, Jacob Brown, and Philip Scheidt. Not interested in the path back home, only pursuing the songs that last.
