GHOST OF WAR was formed in 2009, TRADITIONAL AMERICAN METAL, with just the right touch of PROG/POWER/EURO METAL to set the tone for what is being described by many as Metallica meets Helloween meets Iced Earth meets Motorhead! GHOST OF WAR has been nationally sponsored by JAGERMEISTER, since 2009. They’ve been featured on local and national music festivals, including most recently, in July 2014 winning the Sumerian Records "Headbang For The Highway / Battle Of The Bands" which landed them a spot on the Sumerian Records Stage at the 2014 Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival in Bristow, VA. They were also hand picked by Jagermeister out of hundreds of other bands, to be their showcase band to play on the “Welcome To Rockville Festival” in Jacksonville, FL . In 2013, they also won the grand prize in the Quiet Riot battle of the bands in Philadelphia PA, with drummer Frankie Banali being the deciding vote to give them the big win.
