The Texas Duet

Rich & Maranda started writing and performing together in 2002. 2 years later they left Nashville for the freedom of the Texas music scene. Their first couple of years in the Lonestar state were spent doing shows in and around the Houston area. They were given the nickname “The Texas Duet” by the owner of an east Texas beerjoint. Over time Rich & Maranda has developed an energetic show that blends bluegrass/Americana with honky tonk/swing creating the unique sound of The Texas Duet. Currently working on their second album, these days the Duet find themselves in the hill country. Somewhere between bluegrass and honky tonk. A unique 2/4 piece band, complete with lead and rhythm guitar, harmonica, drums and lots of country harmony. They do it all, Rich and Maranda are the band, a must see act!
