About Frontline Attack

Frontline Attack formed in 1994-1995 in Dallas TX. at a time when there was very little interest in this type of punk. Their early gigs were small local shows and often ended early as a result of violence. They managed to get banned from most venues in Dallas and as a result the band finaly split up in 1997. This line up was not the Frontline Attack you know today but really just a local band that played a handfull of shows in the 1990's. In 2000 Frontline reformed as a completely new band, with a new line-up and became a serious project. This line up put out the "Burned Alive" E.P. wich before going out of press has now sold over 3000 copies with almost no promo or distribution! Over the years Frontline Attack has influenced many Dallas punk bands and built a nation wide following. Over the past 6 years Frontline Attack has made many line up changes featuring different members, but the original line-up was Shawn Attack, Travis Mayhem, and Matt Gilmore. In 2003 they began touring and have now toured the U.S. 5 times two of wich were with the Casualties, and Lower Class Brats. In 2004 they signed to CHARGED RECORDS and released the Mindless Violence CD/LP. This album has just gone into its second pressing and is available world wide. Frontline Attack has always been a streetpunk/oi band and will always remain just that. Alot of punk bands from that era are changing and morphing into other types of music but they will never change. "We were doing this shit before it got popular and we will be doing it long after. We are back togather with the original line-up now!!TRUE STREET PUNK WILL NEVER DIE!!!!"
