Eric Hutchinson

Eric Hutchinson never disappoints! This was my eighth "Sounds Like This" tour show - I saw both Solo Acoustic and Band shows...every show was fantastic!!! Eric's style is timeless - his wit and sense of humor are incomparable, and the SLT songs are every bit as relevant today as they were in 2008. Eric took the audience on a fun tour of his music in descending chronological order until he made his way back to 2008 and then he delighted us with the entire SLT album and lots of fun stories in between the songs. Ian on bass and Zach on drums round out the trio! Zach is an enthusiastic drummer and his solo was fantastic! Ian playing solos on bass was a show-stopper; when he and Eric banter with guitar/bass duets, the absolute fun they have is contagious! While, he must be completely exhausted after performing, Eric sticks around after the show to say hi, sign merchandise and old photos from 2008, and take new photos with fans - a very long line of fans!!!!! Sorry that I am writing this review at the end of the SLT tour because I would encourage everyone reading to get out and attend a show! If you have not seen Eric Hutchinson in concert, you should do so with the next tour! Hopefully, this summer!!!! :)

Eric put on a great show. He never disappoints. It was fun learning about why he wrote some of the tunes and his trip down memory lane. He is always very gracious at the after show meet and greets where he waits to speak with each person and signs memorabilia untl the last person is gone. The Magic Bag was perfect venue too. He always chooses the best venues to perform. Thanks Eric and band!

Eric's show was unbelievably AMAZING! His music is out of this world, and he is so personable. He even hung around after the show to interact with fans. He was kind enough to sign one of his vinyl records for me. Cannot say enough great things about this show and about this man. Thank you Eric! <3

Besides being a fantastic musician and songwriter, Eric is an amazing performer. One of the most enjoyable concerts I have been to, and we go to a lot of concerts every year. I would encourage everyone to see him perform. Outstanding!!!!!

Eric and his band were awesome. I really enjoyed myself. Besides Eric's singing, guitar, keyboard and song writing talents, he's funny. The venue was intimate (small) but I think it was sold out and standing only. The staff was friendly, organized and hard working. Parking was no problem.

This was a GREAT show! Eric Hutchinson is not only a fabulous singer and songwriter, but his narratives throughout the show are so entertaining and funny and engaging. I would see him again in a heartbeat!!

Always entertaining, Eric Hutchinson performed a great mix of his own music, as well a beautiful tribute to Tina Turner. It was a perfect moonlit night, and he captured the moment with a performance of Stand By Me. Ian Allison’s bass solos were fantastic!

Eric is an AMAZING performer. Crazy talented and funny, too. He even did a meet & greet afterward. Super personable. We had an awesome time! Hope to see him again soon!

Eric Hutchinson always puts on a great show! He is incredibly talented, and really knows how to engage with the crowd and make us laugh. After the show, he took the time to chat with fans and take photos. He was so kind and down-to-earth! The venue was the perfect size, with delicious food and drinks. And the employees were so thoughtful and helpful, from the friendly service, to giving us the names of other artists that we might like to see at their venue. Can't wait for the next show!

I first started listening to EH when I heard the coffee house style live rendition of Breakdown More [...Before I Sold Out] and have loved his music and lyrics ever since. I was so glad to have the opportunity to see him live in Seattle! This show was a great time. He masterfully blends humor and musical versatility into a show that makes you want to listen to more of his music for days after leaving the venue! I will definitely be attending the next concert in Seattle!

This guy never fails to impress! He"s a showman. His new album rocked and his band the Believers were great. Everyone at the show were really into it! It was our 13th wedding anniversary and we wouldn't have wanted to spend it anywhere else. On a side note the venue is great. A frame church with amazing acoustics!!!!

The venue is the best...small and intimate. Eric Hutchinson and the Believers are amazing! They played the entire new Album Modern Happiness as well as several compilations of fan favorites. The opening act Jeremy Messersmith was a real treat as well. A rising star. Reminds me of Ben Folds a bit. Very witty songwriter and very entertaining stage presence.

Excellent performance by Eric Hutchinson and The Believers...totally love the format of performing the new album, start to finish. Jeremy Messersmith opening the show made this an incredible musical event! 💕

This was one of the best shows I've ever been to. Eric was amazing, his band is so great with him too. The new album is fantastic, but I also loved hearing all my older favorites from him. He really engaged the audience and is a super nice guy as a bonus!

They played the whole new album to start off a great show! The new songs are terrific! That also played quite a few past favorites! Jeremy Messersmith was a nice first act. Unfortunately we missed some of his songs but enjoyed what we saw. 5 stars Eric and Believers!!

Amazing show!! So fun to be at the Grammy Museum, in such a small intimate space. Loved the Q&A with him before the show, and loved the stripped down acoustic set even more!! So many thumbs up!!

Great show! Would give 5 stars if my cracked screen would let me! Show was moved to Vinyl which is better than The Loft anyway. Loved Humming House that opened too!!!

If you like Eric Hutchinson almost solo, you will absolutely love Eric Hutchinson and the Believers. I hope a new live album is in the works. Solid opening acts as well, which was a pleasant surprise. Get there early enough to catch the whole show, you won't be disappointed!

Loved it - love the fact that I knew pretty much every word to every song he sang, and he sang all of my favorite songs. Had a blast, Thank you Eric for such a great night.

Eric Hutchinson played such a good show I didn't want it to end ever! "it may be Sunday out there, but it's Tuesday in here." I will see him every time he hits up seattle!
