GHOST

IT WAS SO AMAZING OMG. This was my first time seeing them and I have no words to even describe my excitement lol. Definitely going again if they come to LA, more closer to home😭🫶. The only thing that was disappointing were the lines to get in, they were a mess. Lines were formed by other people and people just started to line up. Got so bad that the one of the lines snaked and nobody knew where the end of it was as the merch booth was in the middle and that line was also clashing with our entrance line. There was no guidance until a women came like an hour after and tried to handle it, which kinda worked? She just created a new line from the line that I was standing in, but even so, our line, the new line and another line to our left were merging into one single line to get our tickets scanned😭. I just personally wish they had all the gates open and more people scanning tickets so merging the lines wouldn't happen? But it is a college campus, so ig that's just how they do it there, idk lol? However none of this took away from the actual concert itself, all of that was worth it, so no complaints there🫶🫶🫶🫶❤️

Let me start this off with the show itself was PHENOMENAL... but the VIP felt like such a scam. We had the second level VIP, anointed and we were in assigned seats. We had seats 3 rows back in the vip section and were in the middle. These seats sound great but they were behind the pit and the seats were useless because they were not lifted at all, making us stand the whole show, which i had expected but it was frustrating none the less. We had a terrible view. I had to keep leaning to get even a sliver of a view. People who bought $60 GA tickets had a 10x better view than us. Even the screens were blocked most of the time due to people taller than myself. I had intentionally gotten aisle seats for my partner who has an anxiety condition... but the seats that were clearly sectioned out were pushed together in the front with no aisles, trapping us in the middle and causing so much confusion for staff and attendees. Our doors opened at 4:30 so, like many fans we arrived at 3pm. Our queue was outside in the 107 degree heat. The lines kept getting mixed up an confused. At one point, someone with the venue, not the band, came out with ice cold water. We were desperate like many fans as we had not brought water since it was prohibited inside the venue. They were charging EIGHT dollars a bottle of water (these were completely normal sized waters, not large bottles too). We felt taken advantage of. Individuals with ghost kept saying they would try to get us in early and the first level of VIP got let in at around 4. They didnt let any other level in until close to 4:45, despite us supposed to be getting in at 4:30. To add insult to injury, GA lines were inside the air conditioned venue while VIP roasted outside. This did not feel like a VIP experience.

Ghost was absolutely incredible in Vegas last night. My favorite Ritual yet. Such a beautiful stage. Great set list. Band was on fire. Tobias' vocals were pristine. Fans were great. We got to do a backstage tour (picture forthcoming) which was amazing and came away with some great swag! Vegas was HOT. I've never experienced the hot winds and level of heat as we did yesterday. Chris and I were lucky in that we did not have to wait in the heat to get into the venue as we had Apostle VIP tickets. Apparently the line extended from the MGM Grand Venue to New York New York! YUCK NO PHONES allowed during the show. Which kind of killed me as I love to take photos and this was such a beautiful stage show. That said, it was also amazing to have no one on their phones and no phones in your view and just watch a spectacular event. I've said it before and I'll say it again, as long as this band tours I will never miss a show. I LOVE GHOST! 💜 #ghost

I LOVED the concert. I was in the pit and two girls let me get to the barricade. One of them even gave me a bracelet. So if you are maybe seeing this, thank you! Anyways. The concert was amazing. And my dream came true of being "Ciriced"! It was just so magical in my eyes. And I made eye contact with the Ghouls a lot of the time. That night was the BEST night of my life, ever. If I ever get enough money to be Acended, I definitely will get that. It was just so amazing. The no phone thing wasn't a bad thing for me. To be honest, I felt like it was a lot better that way. I was in the moment and not just staring at the concert through a screen. I got so much Mummy Dust/Dollars, a few bracelets, a keychain, and so much more. I was close to getting a drumstick but my arm was too short. But oh well. I gave out most of my Mummy Dust for those who didn't get any and the people were SO nice. I love these people. Over all, 10/10 experience. If I ever have enough money, will do it again. Absolutely LOVE this band.

Ghost puts on one of the coolest, most visually impressive, high energy performances anyone could ask for! The crowd was filled with mega fans like myself and despite the fact we had seats we weren't in them once the show started. Who can sit when there's so much energy coming off stage beckoning us into joining the festivities?! Lenovo's a great arena for a show like this too as there isn't a bad seat in the house. Even in the nosebleeds you'll hear the show like you're in the pit, get a good view of the stage (doubly so with the big screens Ghost is providing close ups with!), and be a part of the crowd. Convenient amenities also meant not having to pass by ticketing agents anytime you need a snack or bathroom break. And now to the controversy: a no phone show. Look, if you need your phone for some reason, Yondr has unlock stations throughout and is pretty nice about medical exemptions. If you're bitching because you can't film a bootleg? Stuff it. We got plenty of photo worthy moments and memories tailgating pre-show (Ghoulbangers' Ball is a thing, get there early and GTV will be there!) even in NC heat with crazy humidity AND there's an official photo pack! If all you're missing out on is internet clout for a grainy crunchy cellphone clip from your show, that's a you problem. I enjoyed the show so much I didn't even remember I owned a cellphone until we were outside again.

The show and Ghost’s performance was amazing. Everything about the show was perfect, I wish they played more songs. I was sad that we did not see V’s bat suit. But the energy of the ghouls and ghoullettes were fantastic. The venue was very smokey when we went inside, I think its because they did not take the electronic cigarettes away and a huge portion of the crowd was smoking. The venue was very hot even before the show started. I had a standing ticket and we had some issues reaching the venue so we were a bit late. That’s why we were at the back side of the standing area, so we couldn’t see much. We could only see clearly when Ghost members stepped on raised parts of the stage. I wish the whole stage was raised so we could see everything clearly. At one point one of the screens lagged, but it was fixed quickly. Overall I was very happy but I might consider getting seated tickets next time to see everything clearly.

It was a great experience, clearly their team knows how to organize a production well. very few flip ups with their set, they played true to the album and every song had their own special effects, lights, even costume changes. very fun effects and visuals. the sound, at the unipol forum, however, was a little rough. not enough speakers, not enough clarity, a little bit of distortion and it was hard to pick out the guitars when they began their solos if papa was still singing. it wasn't difficult to find seats, however the numbers on the stairs were a little misaligned with the numbers on the seats, which could sometimes make it confusing who went where. nice merch collection, t shirts, hoodies, posters, plushies (not sure) backpacks and some other things. a little pricey for me, but a good thing to have. good tvs that showed off great angles and shots of the band members the whole time. i repeat, the amount of set look changes, outfit changes, special effects, pyrotechnics, lights, etc was impressive and awesome. so, in conclusion, totally worth it. only speaker critics might complain at this exact venue. 😉

So i took my 15 year old daughter to see the band of her dreams in Birmingham, and it was the time of our lives 100% I'm disabled, she's autistic, it was a long long way on the train... we dressed up with face paints and the whole shebang, hotel in Broad st, 15 mins away due to my mobility difficulties... we arrived early, and so did the entire UK by the feel of it!! Thousands of people one behind the other going this way and that in all directions, no body at the canal to advise anyone, so we just followed the herd for an hour before we got to someone with a tabard on who told us to where to go. We joined the queue which was actually a serpentine and heading no where so officials eventually created an actual queue and we got to the doors. Low and behold, my ticket wouldn't scan so I had to scrabble through the crowds down steps and find the box office... 20 mins later after the lady frantically punched numbers into the keyboard and charging me another £4 i had paper tickets and had to go back to the doors and apologise to everyone that I wasn't pushing in ... The rest is history. The band were absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was electric. I don't want to give any spoilers but WOW!!! Absolutely on point 🤟 my daughter cried, I cried, the crowds screamed and the whole venue bounced to each beat of the drum and pluck of the bass. The lights &scenery was amazing. ive been to bands in Utilita before but this was quite a something else, this was a brotherhood, a family headed by the mighty papa himself (yes I'm totally getting into the lore now!) It was an amazing unforgettable night, I'll be watching out for their return to the UK with baited breath and might even go for top price next time! Merchandise stands were good, prices reasonable. But ticketmaster and utilita staff need to up their game, there were simply not enough staff to manage the crowds and to provide directions. I asked about access and disabled needs, but sadly nobody had any clue.

Note:I feel like first I should just apologise to anyone especially the two girls who sat in front of me who sat in front of me for being obnoxious when I yelled out loudly during the stage blackout near the beginning, I just got a bit too excited. Anyway, this was my first time seeing ghost live and I was not disappointed. I love that it was a phone free experience and the system for locking up and releasing phones in pouches was very smooth and the staff were really nice and helpful. All around it was a really positive atmosphere and it was fun to see a lot of people dressed up.The band was so full of energy, the instrumentation was perfect and the vocals were lovely to listen to. The stage design was also so impressive, there are so really awesome physical parts like the giant crucifix lighting and also screens that are utilized really well throughout the show, the visuals look really nice and avoid looking flat or ugly. I think most of ghosts song catalogue is pretty solid so I didn't have much to say about the song list because I think it was a good balance between old and new. All I would possibly say is personally, it does bum me out slightly that the Skelta the tours namesake is releasing after this concert, so some songs played in this concert weren't officially released. Personally I would have been fine to only hear 'Satanised' and 'Lachryma' and hear some more older songs over of some unreleased tracks but that's a tiny nitpick and didn't hinder my enjoyment. With all that being said, this was a really good performance and venue and I highly recommend it, was sat prey high up but still had a really nice view of the stage and the sound was still really good.

Never heard of this band before, it was a Birthday gift for my youngest Daughter Sped most of the way as I didn't realize it was a 10 hour DRIVE from Ontario Canada. thought we would miss it but arrived 30 mins before the show was due to start. I was a literal walking zombie by the time we got there I stood in the back of the pit as she tried to get up close to the stage. I was so impressed with the music the story line Ghouls and oh, did I say music? It kept me awake the stage show was great and hands down I can actually admit I'm a fan. I look forward to seeing the Band again in concert and slowly squirrelling away the pennies just to surprise her and my kids to see them again, hopefully closer and I know it will cost me a lot to be back in the pit but to see my kids happy is all this single rocker mom lover of all genres of music can ask for. it was the drive back right after the show that was the killer for me but she kept playing the music over and over again till we got home safe :)

So fun!! There was a little bit of rain, but not enough for it to cause any problems. People did bring out umbrellas but they were put away after maybe 5-10 minutes. While security did do their job, it wasn't done very well. The cloakroom didn't open until 45 minutes after it was said it would, and by then gates were opening and you had to run back to the line to make sure you got in soon enough. Security did nothing to help with the lines and the one security guard I did speak to made sure we understood everything and pointed out times, where the lines were assumed to be and informed us about the system that some people were putting in place. The best thing about waiting outside the venue would have to be the community. People were so understanding and several fans were going around handing out bracelets, trinkets, papers, stickers, etc. to show their support for Ghost and bring the community together. It was really easy to find line buddies that were caring and made sure you were included. Just before the concert, we were told several times not to run to the barricade, but not very many people listened. People were barging their way through to the barricade, taller people had no regard for people several feet shorter than them and one guy in the area I was standing in was acting extremely inappropriately to people politely asking him to move. I'm forever thankful for the 2 different groups of people who helped both my friend and I out. The audience was great for most of the performance, even the opening band. There were some moments that angered me, but it was normal stuff for a concert. In the end, I really enjoyed the experience and Ghost definitely deserve a rest after how long they've been touring. 130 shows is insane and I wish them well for their next tour.

The workers were incredibly helpful and friendly, one of the best experiences I've had with venue employees. Very happy that the venue was so sustainable and encouraged recycling, etc. It was also very clean and it was helpful that there was many stations for merchandise and food. You could see the love and care the crew put into making the show's sound and visuals stunning. It was a beautiful show. Amon Amarth and Ghost were nothing short of perfection. Ghost had this exciting energy that had me literally jumping up and down! I love how interactive Papa and the Ghouls were with the fans, both fans in the pit and those way out towards the lawn seating. The visuals aligned brilliantly with the songs they perform; at times I forgot I was at a concert venue and not a cathedral! The instruments and singing were hauntingly divine, as the audio quality was amazing and Ghost never fails to preform beautifully. It felt very original of Ghost and I never wanted the show to end. I also enjoyed the Papa Nihil's saxophone solo, the fun guitar-off between two of the Ghouls, and Papa's outfits. This was my first Ritual, my first Ghost concert and I can't to go see them again. So much love to the workers, crew, Amon Amarth, and Ghost!

I'm relatively new to Ghost, having only just started listening to their music a month ago, but I got so hooked that I had to come out to Chicago and check them out live. Man, I am so glad that I did! This was by far one of the best shows I have ever been to. Tobias and the band had incredible stage presence, strong theatrics, and just an incredible performance overall. Ghost is 100% now on my must-see list anytime they're in town. Their opener, Amon Amarth, is a bit heavier than what I typically am used to but their performance was also excellent and I'll definitely be listening more to them. The venue itself is very hit and miss. Northerly Island is a bit of a pain to get to for anyone who doesn't live in Chicago proper, so be sure to give yourself a LOT of extra time to deal with the commute. Public transit is not impossible, but very lengthy and exhausting. If you choose to drive in, be ready for parking in the $40 range and still need to walk a good distance to the venue. The Huntington Bank Pavilion is a nice outdoor venue with a great view of the stage and city...if you pay up for premium seats. Anyone in the side sections will have limited visibility, plus all seating at ground level is flat (so good luck if you're short). The seats are just folding chairs zip tied together, so if you do need to sit at any point be ready to get very comfortable with your neighbors. Overall it is a nice venue, but could do with some upgrades to seating and crowd control.

this was my first time seeing ghost and so my expectations were going off of videos and photos as well as reviews i’d seen online; all setting the bar pretty high. first off, the opening band: twin temple. these two got the atmosphere exactly right for ghost, putting on an excellent show and performing great music at the same time !! loved it. ghost themselves however lived up to every expectation i had, they were insane !! the show they put on was soooo atmospheric and spooky, really really cool and most definitely the best concert ive been to. the vocals? on point. the performance? satanic. tobias? outdid himself. i cried, i cheered, i sung. unfortunately, i didnt get to stay until the end due to train times which…also made me sob but that says a lot about the performance. seeing ghost was the highlight of my year and continues to be a highlight in my life; i hope to see them again and seriously recommend everyone else sees them at least once in their life. the only thing i regret is not getting VIP.

We really enjoyed seeing Ghost. We didnt enjoy how the tickets read- especially for VIP ticket holders. Arrival time was at 4:30pm I believe we got indoors about 15-20 minutes later. Got our badges and swag bags. Then get in a line to see the Relics for a couple minutes then you could buy merch all of that took about 15 max for both. So by 5-5:15pm you were waiting in a line for early access to the floor and were expected to be back and in another line for the 7:15pm meet and greet. We waited in line for early access till about 6:20pm so we decided to just forget that and get into line for the meet and greet. It felt like a lot of queueing in line for not much happening. Then having to be crammed into a busy corridor to wait for your turn for your meet and greet photo was just a lot of stress. People were crowded around you getting food and drinks and you were rushed to meet Papa so it didnt feel like an experience with the price of the ticket. He was absolutely kind and welcomed everyone but the staff rushed you along so it felt stressful. I feel that the staff running the event were not organized and had no good time management. You were at the concert from 4:30pm to 11pm and you ended up missing the first 2 opening bands only to have enough time to grab food and a drink, run to the bathroom and Ghost was coming on stage. The confusing part of the tickets was you didnt have selected seats. We ended up finding empty seats in the upper balcony so i could be more comfortable with my disability. Ghost gave a wonderful performance, they were lovely and kind and thankful to their audience. The overwhelmingly amazing showmanship the band conducted was a great show experience. The costume changes every song basically kept it fun and exciting. Poor time management but the band was excellent.

I've never been to the Coca-Cola Coliseum before, so I was a bit nervous going to a venue I was unfamiliar with, but the staff/event staff were all wonderful and helpful. It is a smaller venue compared to Scotiabank or Rogers (there is not that above level of seats, under the VIP boxes), so it is comfortable and not threateningly large and hard to navigate. GHOST is a band I have seen before, but didn't know of prior, and good god I immensely regret not listening to them prior to that 2019 concert. They are theatrical, interactive, and charismatic as all hell. The visuals of a GHOST concert are unreal, the set and backdrop are more magical than anything else you could possibly ever see in your lifetime. Most bands only focus on the singer, and less so on those playing the instruments, but GHOST is not like other bands. The Ghouls and Ghoulettes get their own moments of the show to shine, be it for a silly little guitar duel or a solo in a song, there is always a moment for everyone to take the spotlight, quite literally. I took my friend to this concert, who had never been to a concert before, and he had an amazing time, even as someone who had not really listened to GHOST's entire discography. Their songs are fun and something anyone can dance to, even when disregarding the lyrics. The costumes and costume changes throughout the show never disappoint, and counting all the hats that Papa Emeritus IV wears is always a fun game to play. Their music is something that is unlike any other, and witnessing it live is a truly wonderful experience. I highly recommend going to a GHOST concert, as well as doing any event at the Coca-Cola Coliseum.

“Hello Tucson, Arizonia!” 🤣 GHOST was absolutely amazing, as always! The crowd was great, just a big, friendly Satanic Singalong. The venue, however, was horrid! Absolutely unprofessional and disorganized. The VIP experience was like a cattle roundup run by kindergartners. The staff themselves were mostly friendly, but nobody had a clue what was going on. Everything was late. By the time we got to the meet and greet room, everyone was excited, but totally frazzled. And when we got to have our moment with Papa, I was actually shocked at how they were treating our beloved! There he was in all of his glorious vestments, in this stuffy little room with no air flow. I felt so bad for him! I wanted to dab his brow and fan him… I was so caught off-guard I didn’t even introduce myself! So rude of me… Grrrr By the time we got out, Mastodon was almost done playing. Unbelievable. But Papa and his Ghouls gave us an Epic performance! Thank you always for GHOST. ♥️If you have GHOST, you have everything ♥️

Spiritbox opened - first time I hear this band. Solid and definitively will keep track of. Mastodon followed and I have to say the sound mix for them was a total mess, not sure if this is the way they carry it everywhere but at the TCC it was just a jumbled mess of bass drum, bad mic for Troy spaghetti harsh guitars (both) and was there a keyboard? I could see the guy but he could have not been even plugged in!. The only song I enjoyed was Teardrinker from their latest album (sung by Brann) - did he get a special microphone or what?. Again, this might not be on the band, maybe they came up well on their in-ear monitors, but on the venue's PA it was tiring, confused and... boring. Spiritbox before them had a great audio mix by the way. Go figure. But Ghost was at another level. The very well picked set list covered both new and classic stuff, I was pleased to witness the duel and the eponymous Cirice. Pyrotechnics, sound, stage presence, showmanship... all delivered by the band beyond expectations. Missed Ghost on their tour first round this year in Phoenix and am damn glad they stopped by The Old Pueblo this time around. Miasma was as it has been always a high point of the show... then the end of the gig came up, sadly - felt too short but as it is said "time flies when you got Ghost". Will make sure to catch them again their next tour. As far as the venue goes... opened up late, not much info on doors opening time, a bit disorganized on the info being passed on those of us on the waiting line - was there since an hour before the announced 6pm doors open time. Tucson's climate does not help, venue could have furnished at least some fans outside to create the illusion of a breeze - all in all I was two hours standing outside the Arena until things got moving.

I was not terribly impressed by the opening group, Nothing More. They played just fine but I did not know the material and it's not really a style of music that I enjoy very much so it was a bit of a wash, but again that's also not who I was there for. As usual, Ghost put on an incredible show, and seeing them this time in a bigger venue meant fancier effects, with pyrotechnics and fun lighting. It sounded great and I was actually still close enough to be able to see them quite clearly (the fact that I often can't see the band very clearly in big venues is a reason why I usually avoid them), which is cool because Papa changed costumes multiple times throughout the night. They also played a really great list of songs, a great mix of new material and old favorites. Seriously if you like Ghost you should probably go see them live, the added theatricality as well as the sheer rumble of the music when you hear it live make the cost of tickets worth it.

Ghost never seems to disappoint. Did not give the show a 5 star review only because I wanted to see more. They did not perform "Spirit" or "Majesty". I would have also liked to hear "If You Have Ghosts" or even one of the covers on the Popestar EP. Otherwise, the show was fantastic. Their stage presence is on par with or even surpasses some of their better known contemporaries. One call tell that this is an extremely talented group of musicians and, Papa's vocals were excellent and clear sounding. Papa's interaction with the crowd was also enjoyable to watch. He is a very charismatic M.C. with the ability to blend piety and jocularity into one entertaining mood. The addition of pyrotechnics (fire spouts, flares and blockbuster sized explosions), mist/fog, golden glitter bombs (during the performance of "Mummy Dust") & the smell of Pontifical Incense simple enhanced the entire experience. A mention also must be made of the venue. Kings Theatre is simply amazing. Great venue and a great show to see.
