The Label

Formed by frontmen and childhood friends Michael Kerr and Jordan McGlynn, The Label are a 4-piece band from Paisley, Scotland with a sound that is instantly familiar yet fresher than yesterday's milk. They fuse hard hits, big riffs, delicate melodies and bittersweet lyrics into energy-laden, guitar-based music not constrained by genre or afraid to be big and uncool.

The band have build a strong and loyal following through a series of high-energy performances around Scotland's central belt, including multiple headline shows at Glasgow's famous King Tut's Wah Wah Hut. A major milestone for the band came with the chance to record with one of their musical icons, JP Reid (Marmaduke Duke, Sucioperro, MEDALS), in sessions which spawned the singles 'Private Members Club' and 'One of the Girls'. These were followed by shows supporting rising British stars VANT and Louise Distras, before the band headed off to Liverpool to record the Vodka & Lemonade EP.

Released to great acclaim in August 2016, 'Vodka & Lemonade' brought the band to a whole new audience after being featured in reality TV show 'Glow'. Following a series of shows to promote the 4 track EP, the band have returned to the studio in 2018 to work on new material for their deserving and loyal fans.
