I didn’t like the venue, with a horrible view from the circle trier. I had to stand in the back, but it didn’t spoil the evening. Glen, as fragile and vulnerable as always, made his point again! He’s just an amazing artist!

Amazing performance by a fabulously talented man. Just so accomplished in his fantastically skilled and varied guitar playing. Passionate singing of brilliantly sculptured lyrics and delivery of wonderful music. It really does not get better than Glen Hansard. No one should ever miss the opportunity to see him live in concert. 🎶

Amazing show! So much energy and love in the room and the talent of all of the musicians on stage was clear throughout the show. I got goosebumps several times and also cried multiple times due to being moved by the music.

So lucky to have been there. Glen Hansard is one of my all-time fave performers and to have Marketa Irglova there with him was just magical. The entires band was phenomenal and the night was one I won’t forget.

Mediocre show, lots of slow songs. I have seen The Swell Season several times, and I love Glen, but this was not a sharp or energetic show. The passion it seems has faded over the years, but I still love what they built.

Outstanding performances, I'm really looking forward to the results from studio recordings! An incredibly brave display of vulnerability, raw creativity, and honest delivery of newly crafted material which subtly shifted in its form from night 1 in NCH to St Canice's ..... a journey of mature reflection and true interaction with the varied audience and each other as performers

I saw them at Radio City in 08ish. The intimacy of this show and the sheer beauty of the audience singing along and in response to Glen was something I have never experienced before. Such talents. And then Mar turns a Hamilton tune into a torch song accompanied with her sister harmonizing! Can't make this stuff up. Pure magic.

Thank you for coming SLC and putting on such a wonderful show. The date of your concert in SLC was my wife’s and my 22nd anniversary. We attended the show with our 2 children. The younger of which, 14 y.o. Boy, did not want to attend. He has been listening to your music ever since. A great show, and a great memorable evening. Thank you.

A perfect night. Glen is darling and funny, intelligent and pure. The whole show from beginning to end was wonderful. And when he brought out Eddie Vedder, the whole place exploded. If you have a chance to see Glen in concert, do. You won’t be disappointed.

I have seen Glen perform a couple of times and I am always so impressed with his comfortable stage presence. He has a talent that makes a show very intimate - as he did at The Merriam by coming out with his guitar, no mic, nothing else to play a song and introduce the opening act. The sound quality of his band did not disappoint as it filled the century old theatre with ease. Overall amazing show.

As always, Glen Hansard was simply amazing!
This was my 8th time seeing him since 2009 and he just keeps getting better each time. Last nights show was just so great in every aspect;
Great venue, we were able to stand by the wall which allowed us a great view and a little room for dancing, and Glens performance did not disappoint! I was a little anxious since we brought someone to see him for the first time and didn’t know if she would be a fan but she found him to be as awesome as we do!

Wondrous! The show was opened by an experimental Jazz duo, Joe Quartz, whom Glen had invited from Paris, before Glen and his band entered the stage.
The first few songs from the new album (This Wild Willing) were stirring with an angry undercurrent but transitioned into quieter ones with mercurial ease. They then softened into the gracefully intimate sound of his earlier albums (e.g. Rhythm And Repose, The Swell Season, Didn’t He Ramble), just to let it grow into the blasting soundscape of a big band.
Glen interspersed the set with anecdotes on the songs’ making, with birthday greetings for Paula Hughes and Joe Doyle, with a guest appearance and with lots of humour, of course.
The evening concluded with a beautiful unplugged rendition of Leonard Cohen’s “Passing Through”.

What a night, unbelievable. I can't believe how lucky I was to see Glen and all the other legends on stage last night, a night I'll never forget. And, what a venue, beautiful place, perfect acoustics, and not a bad seat in the house, intimate as can be. If you get a chance to go here don't miss out, it's a venue I'll be returning to without doubt.

Billed as The Swell Season with Scullion supporting, the night brought us a set from Scullion and the original Swell Season lineup interspersed with flair from the Footsbarn Theatre troupe. Amazing night of music with acoustics you can only dream about.

UNBELIEVABLE. The energy and positivity from the stage was so uplifting. My first time seeing Glen after failing to secure tickets several times to see him perform back in my native Ireland .The Theatre is a very special venue and added to the intimacy of the gig.

Amazing. Beautiful historic theater. He was engaging and funny, told lots of stories about the how he wrote the songs. Told tails of Ireland, family & friends. Absolutely top 5 concerts I have ever attended. I'll see him the next time he is in town for sure.

Glen was amazing as usual. The staff at The Majestic were friendly and helpful. The security, which was hired by the promoter, we're rude and disrespectful. They need to watch there tone around ladies. As someone who attends 10-15 concerts a year and NEVER has any issues, I was shocked by the behavior of the security staff. In my opinion, they need formal training on interacting with the public.

This was probably the best show I've seen this year, and I've seen about 15 so far. Glen and the band were amazing and filled with passion and energy! If he comes to town again, do t miss him. You'll be forever happy you went!

This show was the best show I have ever attended! Glen was amazing! Last night's show was a dream come true for me! My face hurt so much from smiling. It will forever be etched in my memory. The only downside was the confusion about which seats were General Admission and which were reserved. but that had nothing to do with Glen's performance. That was a miscommunication issue with the venue. I am so happy I got the opportunity to be present for this show. I hope I can see him live again soon!
